From live performances on the stage in Depot Square to parades, festivals, and street fairs along our charming streets, downtown Angier is host to many family-friendly events all year long, and we are always thinking of new ways to bring more fun and entertainment into our beautiful town.
The Community Development Coordinator is the staff liaison to the Angier Community Development Advisory Board, a board created by the Town Board of Commissioners to provide guidance and support to the Town Board for both economic and community development. The Community Development Advisory Board includes 9 appointed members, as well as volunteers, with representation from the local business community, area churches, and town residents. The Board recommends activities and projects that bring businesses and residents together to nurture pride in our town and sustain growth and economic well-being for years to come.
